The Fibroptonic is an essential and very comprehensive tool for high school.
Cleverly designed, it has a microphone input and a speaker ouExperimentut allowing for immediate study of sound signals.
To go further, it has analog input and ouExperimentut allowing for the injection and transmission of any electrical signal and the retrieval of the transmitted signal for visualization on an oscilloscope or an ExAO console.
The fixing system at the transmitter and receiver level ensures the maintenance of the optical fiber and optimal transmission of signals.
The composition in different modules allows for great pedagogical freedom and access to the realization of numerous experiments.

A complete manual presents 13 experimental themes described in 25 experiments:
- Propagation of an infrared signal in the air
- Optical and geometrical properties of an infrared signal
- Propagation of an electromagnetic signal in an optical fiber
- Telephony by optical fiber
- Transmission of a periodic signal
- Detection and transmission by optical fiber
- Measurement of periods
- Detection of light variations
- Vibrations and mechanical oscillations
- Spectroscopy
- Photometry
- Colorimetry and chemical kinetics
2 additional practical works are proposed on the themes of studying the attenuation and opening of an optical fiber as well as on the transmission of signals through a fiber.

The manual and practical works are available for download

Composition:
- 1 transmitter module that converts sound or electrical signal into an infrared signal. This module has a built-in microphone and a direct input to transmit periodic electrical signals or connect an external sound source via an adapter (not included). A connector allows for selecting the input channel: microphone or direct input.
- 1 receiver module that converts an infrared signal into sound or electrical signal (bandwidth 550 to 1000 nm). This module has a built-in speaker (adjustable volume) and an analog output.
- 1 photoresistor module that serves as a light sensor and allows for experiments in spectroscopy, photometry, and mechanical oscillations.
- 1 approximately 5-meter optical fiber that enables the connection between the transmitter and receiver modules.
