Gold nanoparticle synthesis kit

This kit allows for the synthesis of gold nanoparticles, with a diameter of around 20 nm, through an aqueous pathway.
This synthesis requires standard laboratory equipment.
It enables the student, through the educational process outlined in the accompanying document, to work on basic chemistry concepts, such as calculating the quantity of substance, manipulating Avogadro's number...
The reaction involved is based on a formulation, discovered by J. Turkevich, involving the reduction of tetrachloroauric acid by sodium citrate.
At the end of the reaction, it is possible, to further the process, to add a saline solution that will destabilize the environment and thus the particles.

For 15 experiments: 1 bottle of 30 mL of gold salt 1 bottle of 30 mL of sodium citrate
