Study kit for milk components
This kit allows for the identification of a large part of the components of milk.
This set of reagents is provided in a format that facilitates transportation and storage. It is designed for quick implementation in practical work.
Its handling does not require any personal protective equipment, so it can be used in all rooms.
With these compounds, the student can perform characteristic tests to identify sugars, proteins, fats: organic compounds.
They must then curdle the milk using acetic acid to obtain visible results during ion identification tests.
The composition of the kit allows for the detection of potassium, chlorine, and calcium.
A preliminary test identifies the major component of milk: water.
