HS 5 - What are the main components of milk?
Identification of some chemical species present in milk (water, carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, vitamins, mineral ions).

Introduction:
Milk is a basic element of our diet that is used as it is but also in many transformed forms (yogurts, cheeses, butter ...).
It is a complete food that contains water, fats, sugars, proteins, mineral salts, and vitamins. Due to its physicochemical characteristics and composition, it constitutes a particularly rich subject of study.
Milk is therefore a mixture of different components that we intend to separate and identify in this practical work using characteristic tests.
