Learning Systems: Renewable Energies - SCADA
SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) refers to the monitoring, control, and real-time data acquisition of technical process data. In the field of electrical energy, SCADA is used from production to energy consumption, including distribution. SCADA allows visualization and modification of data in processes. The measured values are represented in real-time. Control signals can be adjusted during the process. The SCADA system can also automatically control the process through an integrated API. Recording measured values over time allows for better planning and economic optimization. The system can be remotely controlled in local networks (LAN) or via the Internet.
