TP - The different protections against UV rays

Scientific Issue:
Ultraviolet (UV) radiation is an electromagnetic radiation emitted by the sun or an artificial source. It is completely invisible to the human eye.
While the sun is the main source of UV radiation, there is also a wide variety of artificial sources. The applications are numerous, but the use of UV radiation is mainly known for aesthetic purposes (artificial tanning).
How can the emission of UV radiation be detected?
How can exposure to it be limited?
Procedure:
There are UV radiation-sensitive test plates available: made of a white plastic material when not exposed to UV, these plates immediately turn pink under the action of this radiation. The return to the initial state is quite rapid by placing the plates in darkness, for example.
The simplicity of using the test plates allows for the detection of UV emission and testing the effectiveness of means to protect against it (sunscreen, sunglasses, etc.).
