Experimentally build the characteristic of a photosensitive component (photoresistor, photodiode, phototransistor, photovoltaic cell): - based on illumination.
Examples of activities: Observation of pixels in digital images and comparison of their numerical codes.

Introduction:
In order to simplify the study of a CCD sensor and thus understand its operation, it is possible to characterize a photosensitive element.
This is what is proposed, initially, in the following practical work by characterizing a photosensitive component based on the illumination of the light source.
Subsequently, this practical work allows understanding the encoding of a pixel through a fun and enriching activity.
Note: the first experiment proposed in this document is carried out in ExAO with the Foxy® console. This experiment can be done with any data acquisition system including the Primo® console or a digital storage oscilloscope.
