Introduction:
Medicine, measuring instruments, lighting, digital transmission... Today, optical fiber is omnipresent and has led to significant technological advances in the last 50 years.
To discover what happens in an optical fiber, it is possible to use models that will address basic concepts.
The manipulations presented here should be compared to the classical manipulations of reflection and refraction.
