Scientific Problem:
The biological cycle of diplonts is characterized by an alternation between a dominant diploid phase and a reduced haploid phase. The latter begins with meiosis which produces reproductive cells with n chromosomes.
How does the process of meiosis allow the production of haploid cells from diploid cells?
