ModSim Glycemia Software (CD-Rom establishment version)
-83%
Objective
Verify the regulation of blood sugar by pancreatic organs
Exploration Field
Modeling of blood sugar and diabetic phenotypes
Use
- Allows to understand the functioning of a complex system
- The exploitation of all available scientific data on the system being studied makes it possible to develop a functional model
Author
J.-M. Coulais
Set of documents and tools allowing the implementation of a modeling approach and the use of the constructed model as a simulator. This is done in 4 modules, each representing a step in this approach:
- Problematic: documents intended for formulating a problem and collecting clues capable of generating research leads, strategies.
- Scientific data: raw data that need to be analyzed, compared, and confronted to model the regulatory system.
- Modeling: a process that involves back and forth between the consulted scientific data, the development of a model, and its evaluation.
- Simulation: consists of executing a scenario with a model (constructed by the student, corrected model provided with ModSim, or by the teacher).
