The strong points
  • Extended imaging capabilities: Allows the use of a wider range of fluorophores

  • Increased multiplexing of blots: Simultaneously detect multiple antigens using excitation sources covering a range of wavelengths from blue to near-infrared (NIR)

  • Reduction of spectral noise: With narrow-band excitation sources and emission filters, spectral overlap is minimized, thus improving the clarity of results.

The ChemiDoc™ to ChemiDoc MP Upgrade Kit offers a turnkey solution for transitioning to more advanced multiplex imaging, ideal for researchers seeking reliable and reproducible results in the analysis of fluorescent western blots!

The ChemiDoc™ to ChemiDoc MP Upgrade Kit allows for the transformation of a ChemiDoc imaging system into a ChemiDoc MP, thereby providing a wide range of advanced fluorescent imaging options. This kit includes illumination sources and emission filters suitable for a greater variety of fluorophores, ranging from traditional fluorophores such as RGB (red, green, blue) to near-infrared (NIR) wavelengths.

With this upgrade, the ChemiDoc system becomes capable of conducting fluorescent multiplexing experiments, where multiple antigens can be detected simultaneously on the same blot, thus reducing the need for stripping and reprobing, saving valuable time in analyses. The simultaneous use of narrow-band excitation sources and specific emission filters minimizes spectral overlaps, ensuring clearer and more precise results, even with multiple fluorophores.

  • Expanded fluorophore compatibility: RGB, far-red, and near-infrared (NIR), compatible with StarBright™ fluorophores.
  • Illumination sources: Includes blue, green, red, far-red, and NIR excitation sources.
  • Specific emission filters: Narrow band from green to NIR to limit interference and spectral noise.
  • Multiplexing capability: Allows for the detection of multiple antigens on the same blot without the need for stripping.
  • Crosstalk reduction: Signal optimization to limit spectral overlap between fluorophores.
  • Enhanced fluorescent imaging: Use of a range of wavelengths for precise and detailed imaging.
