Arium Sterilizing Filter - Sartorius

The arium® sterile filter (Sartopore® 2 150) is a ready-to-use capsule equipped with a sterile filter membrane to meet very high requirements. Sartopore® 2 150 capsules contain a hydrophilic and heterogeneous polyethersulfone double membrane which provides excellent shelf life and flow rates. The capsule is connected at the end position (withdrawal point) using a quick coupling and reliably removes particles and microorganisms larger than 0.2 µm during the final purification step from water. A hydrophobic PTFE membrane installed at the furthest point from the upstream process allows the capsule to be vented easily and cleanly.
All Sartopore® 2150 pleated membrane filter units are validated as sterile filters for use in the biopharmaceutical industry according to HIMA and ASTM F-838-05 guidelines (documentation available). The integrity of each capsule is tested during the manufacturing process to meet the highest quality requirements and safety standards.
