Voltammetry experiment and study of the Ferri/Ferro cyanide system
Topics covered:
- Oxidation-reduction system
- Current-potential curve
- Electrochemical solvent inertial domain
Overvoltages - Study of a fast system.
Principles and objectives:
The aim of this lab is to plot the current-potential curves (i-f€) of the three solutions A, B, and C and to study the parameters that influence an electrochemical system.
Comments:
This Teaching Pack is used by the teacher in class, practical work, or supervised personal initiative work (TIPE).
It helps illustrate the concepts of the PC, PC*, MP, PSI, PT, and ExperimentC programs.
> Linear voltammetry curves in a few minutes.
> Observation of successive waves of oxidation-reduction.
> Highlighting of slow and fast systems.
> Observation of the diffusion plateau and the influence of agitation.
> Study of the electrochemical inertial domain, of accumulators.
> Going further in TIPE with corrosion studies.
