Atom structure

These elements will allow middle school students to address the concept of the internal structure of an atom's nucleus. The tokens making up the product represent neutrons, protons, and electrons differentiated by their colors: neutrons in blue, protons in red, and electrons in white. Using a periodic table of elements, the student will have to position the tokens to represent the composition of a specific chemical element. An insert on the box allows indicating its mass: at the end of the session, the teacher will thus verify the presence of all elements by simply weighing each box without having to recount!
