Ohaus dry baths for microtubes are economical, versatile, compact, and of high quality. These multi-purpose devices are perfect for culture incubation and activation, enzymatic reactions, immunoassays, melting/boiling points, and various laboratory procedures.
Each of the three models can accommodate separate and interchangeable modular blocks, allowing for various sample holders such as microtubes, centrifuge tubes, vials, microplates, and PCR strips or tubes.
Each block has a thermometer to measure the block temperature. The anodized aluminum modular blocks provide better temperature stability and heat transfer.
Heated cover reduces condensation on sample lids.

Operating Features:

Microprocessor Control: PID temperature control with an optional external RTD probe maintains temperature stability at around 0.1°C and temperature uniformity at around 0.1°C. Samples are heated to temperature quickly and accurately. Temperature is set in approximately 0.1°C increments.

LED Display: Touch controls with independent LED displays. Provides precise and reproducible results every time. Displays the set point and current temperature. The timer displays elapsed time or, if a limit is set by the user, causes the unit to stop when it reaches zero. The display shows the last parameters used, even after power-off.

Safety Features:

Heat Warning Indicator: A heat warning light illuminates when the temperature exceeds 40°C.
Over-Temperature Protection: If the unit temperature exceeds the set temperature by 10°C, the unit automatically shuts off.
Audible Alarm: In programmed mode, an alarm sounds when the timer reaches zero and the set temperature is reached.

CAUTION. To avoid electrical hazards, do not fill the wells or block entrance with water or other liquids. The tool is designed to be a dry bath/incubator.

Operating Conditions:

The device can be used in environments ranging from 18 to 33°C with a humidity range of 20 to 80%, without condensation.
