The BT Energimeter can be used either in real-time mode or as a data logger, with files that can be subsequently transferred to a PC via Bluetooth for analysis. To facilitate the processing of this data, the PowerLog software is available for free.

This software has the following features:

- Importation of recording files from the BT Energimeter analyzer

- Display of the temporal evolution of the various recorded parameters (peak and RMS voltage, peak and RMS current, power, and mains frequency)

- Selection of the time range for analysis

- Automatic selection of analysis zones based on different criteria to simplify event detection (overvoltage, voltage drop, mains frequency variation, consumption peak...)

- Automatic calculation of multiple data on analysis zones

- Number of zones/events and duration

- Minimum, maximum, average, and variance values for each parameter

- Power factor

- Display of statistics on the various parameters (histogram and pie chart)
