Educational kit Adhesion

Targeted Skills:
Why choose one material over another when manufacturing an object? Why is a tire made of rubber? Why is a bicycle frame made of aluminum? etc... Using the provided discovery sheets, students classify different materials based on specifications. By adopting an investigative approach, students will learn about testing, measurements, experimental protocols to demonstrate a property, and classify materials based on their physical properties. The demonstrations are very visual, and measurements are an added benefit for classification.

Each kit is sold with a complete educational environment:
• Preparation sheet.
• Student documents.
• Correction documents.

With the Adhesion VM30 kit, students will identify each material using name tags. They will observe the adhesion of these materials using an inclined plane, a protractor, and different mobile objects of the same mass with different coatings (metal, plastic, leather, rubber). The study can even be varied on wet ground.
Each kit is independent and can be used alone.
