Polarizing filter for LED microscopes

Place the thin section on the stage under the objectives, place the Bertrand lens in position and turn it until the light goes out (crossed polars).
Note its position and then insert a thin blade: the crystals will appear.

Shape, color variations upon rotation, extinction angles assessed through the scale will allow you to identify them.
