Potometer

The potometer allows students to easily measure plant transpiration based on the water consumption of a plant.

The device consists of a glass component (the capillary tube) mounted on a solid support plate, designed to minimize the risk of breakage.
Using a graduated scale, the student can determine the amount of water present at different times to deduce the rate of evaporation.

The device can also be used to measure humidity.
