Nerve tank

This nerve chamber is specially designed for recording global potentials of isolated nerve. It features 15 electrodes, with variable spacing, allowing all possible combinations in the placement of stimulation and reception electrodes. Combined with ExAO, stimulation can be performed either directly by the console and controlled by the software, or synchronized using an external stimulator. The nerve chamber can be used with the dedicated nerve-muscle software from Atelier Scientifique SVT, which supports direct stimulation by your Foxy console. Acquisitions can also be made using an external stimulator. In a few moments, the student can set up one or more stimulations, varying the intensity, duration of the stimulations, and the interval between them. The nerve response can be collected by the Electrophy sensor ref 482046, or the physio sensor ref 482088. The nerve chamber is an essential element in the study of nerve activity.
