This Redy sensor measures the value of the current passing through it.
This measurement can be done in instantaneous or true effective value, meaning a real measurement regardless of the signal's shape (sine wave, square wave, triangle...), the shape factor is managed by the sensor's electronics.
This sensor is connected in series in the circuit like a classic ammeter.
