This Redy sensor measures the voltage value at its terminals.
This measurement can be done in instantaneous or true effective value, meaning a real measurement regardless of the signal's form (sine wave, square wave, triangle...), the form factor is managed by the sensor's electronics.
This sensor is connected in parallel in the circuit like a conventional voltmeter.
