Geological map of the Quaternary period of the Pyrenees

This map shows a number of characteristic units of the Quaternary period:
Post-glacial formations, terraces and fluvio-glacial formations, glacial formations (Würmian cycle and earlier glacial deposits), morphological elements of the relief, volcanic apparatus, weathering of the granitic basement, karst phenomena, prehistoric sites, aeolian phenomena, earthquakes.
