Easy to use, this model offers many measurement possibilities, with or without contact. Measurement by photo-reflection for contactless measurement: a reflective strip is positioned on the part to be checked. The optical sensor avoids external interference, and the active and modulated infrared beam ensures accurate measurements. Traditional contact measurement, a mechanical adapter (cylinder, cone, or calibrated wheel) translates the rotation speed into pulses, which are measured by the tachometer. A third possibility is an external input that allows a large number of sensors delivering voltage signals to be connected to the tachometers.
