Everything has been designed to make it easier for you to take control and approach your mechanics lab work serenely:

→ An innovative inkjet mobile:
The mobiles are equipped with an inkjet printing head. Thus, your trajectories are marked on the upper side of the paper as the mobile passes by.
Set the remote control to a time interval Δt of your choice between 20 and 100 ms in steps of 5 ms.

From the positions of the mobile on sheet A1, find, through drawing, the velocity and acceleration vectors at a point.

→ Video detection facilitated by LEDs:
The mobiles are equipped with an adjustable red or green LED that facilitates tracking through video. Thus, with the help of a fast camera ref. 572 000 for example or a webcam and the Cinéris software ref. 000 333, easily find the successive positions and process the data to determine velocities and accelerations.

→ A balanced mobile:
Achievement of rectilinear displacement even when it rotates on itself.

→ A versatile table:
Extra flat: very little friction for guaranteed uniform rectilinear movements.
Adjustment of horizontality thanks to adjustable feet.
Table tilt in steps of 0.5°, 4 possible angles.

→ Optimized accessories:
Accelerometer with high-quality bearing: minimal friction.
Launcher: calibrated spring of known stiffness for calibrated and repeatable propulsions.
Overload for mobile: m=0.5x mass of the mobile: simplifying calculations to focus on important concepts.
