Air cushion bench
-59%
The air cushion bench allows for frictionless mechanics experiments and therefore enables the study of Newton's laws: - constant speed motion, - adjustable constant acceleration motion, - inclined plane, - elastic and inelastic collisions, - explosion with 2 associated carts.
- 1 square, rigid rail, made of anodized aluminum (length 1.5 m), - 1 adjustable 230 V integrated blower on the bench, attached at the end of the rail in an insulated box, - 2 carts weighing 100 g (approximately) with support mast, moving on air cushions, - 1 mass overload of 100 g (approximately), - 4 end pieces with springs for elastic shocks, - 2 end pieces for soft shocks, - 1 sliding rod for adjusting inclined plane, - 1 triggering sensor for Ex.A.O. manipulations, - 1 spool of nylon thread, - 1 special end piece with spring for "explosion" experiment, - 1 device for accelerometer mounted on support, - 1 overload tray and 4 overloads, - 1 wire with plug for hanging the carts Instructions with illustrations for implementation and manipulation results can be downloaded at www.jeulin.fr.
