Study Model of Rotation
This model allows the study of uniform circular and uniformly accelerated motions. A pulley-mass system serving as a propulsion mode drives the arm under the action of an adjustable constant force using a hook mass to study accelerated motions, thus introducing the modeling of Newton's gravitation. The low friction of the axis ensures the realization of rotation movements at nearly uniform speed; thus, it is possible to conduct an experimental approach analogous to the approximation of the circular motion of a planet around the sun and to help introduce Kepler's laws. To further study mechanics, the student can adjust the moment of inertia using 2 sliding masses and modify the torque using the stepped pulley with 2 diameters linked to the axis of rotation.
