Chladni plate violin format

Vibrator consisting of a speaker membrane connected to a rod vibrating vertically. The end of the rod is provided with a tightening screw to fix a cord, a spring or a Chladni plate. The power is supplied. by a low frequency generator delivering 20 Vdc (not supplied) which makes it possible to adjust the vibration frequency of the vertical rod. The maximum vibration amplitude is obtained for a frequency close to 40 Hz. The use of a GBF amplifier (not supplied) increases the amplitude of the vibration. To be completed by: - a spring or a cord to highlight the longitudinal or transverse vibrations. -Chladni plates to highlight the notion of spatial wavelength. Note: It is recommended to use a mass of 50 g maximum for the tension of the cord.
