Square single domain superconducting block (YBCO)

Single-domain levitating mass of YBaCuO superconducting material with the ability to trap the magnetic field. The masses exhibit a strong levitation force. They can, for example, be used (in combination with powerful permanent magnets) in self-stabilizing magnetic bearings with very low friction.
