Soundproof room

This briefcase, whose walls are covered with foam soundproofing insulation, allows for conducting 3 types of experiments:
- Measurement of sound intensity levels in dB,
- Study of the soundproofing capacity of materials of different natures, individually or combined.
The buzzer positioned in the designated slot and the isolating material(s) inserted between the buzzer and the sound level meter,
- Measurement of the decrease in sound intensity based on distance.
A graduated rod to be screwed onto the buzzer allows for easy adjustment of the distance with the sound level meter and measuring the corresponding sound intensity level.

To avoid any noise before and after the manipulation, the buzzer is activated with a switch and deactivated when the briefcase is opened thanks to a photodetector system.
