Multiplier - Modulator

This unit is specifically designed to allow for easy and independent study of amplitude modulation of a signal.
To facilitate the experience, the device generates an integrated carrier of 150 kHz, which allows for working either with an oscilloscope or traditional ExAO systems.
To illustrate the role of the carrier, it is also possible to generate it using a Function Generator connected to the setup.
Through a selector, the student can observe on the chosen measurement system (oscilloscope or ExAO) the carrier and the signal independently or the modulation created by the multiplication.
In order to encourage student reflection in choosing the setup, it can be combined with a peak detector circuit or with the Demodulator ref. 302215, specifically designed to ensure reproducible and suitable results for the signals from the Multiplier-Modulator.
