Chauvin Arnoux C160 - Transformer clamp for AC current measurement
The "C" series is a high-performance 1000 A transformer clamp range. The round shape of the jaws and the evenly distributed winding ensure precision and minimal phase shift.
It features a pendulum system for adjusting the magnetic elements and a patented system for smoothly assisted progressive opening of the jaws.
Its clamping capacity of Ø52 mm allows for current measurements on most conductors in industrial and tertiary installations CATIII 600V.
Paired with an oscilloscope, this insulated current probe has 3 sensitivities and allows visualization of currents with a bandwidth of up to 100 kHz.
Key features of the C160 model:
- Output signal: alternating voltage
- Output/input ratio: 100 mV / A AC, 10 mV /A AC, 1 mV / A AC,
- Output via coaxial cable and insulated male BNC plug
