It is small and convenient, easy to carry for any type of work. The entire system can be used in its carrying case to prevent dirt and dust from reaching the sensitive parts of the fusion splicer. The design is very robust, and even though splicing should take place in good conditions (indoors), the EasySplicer PRO is also intended to be used in the field. The EasySplicer Pro is unique in that it uses fiber holders for different market cables. The holders make it very easy to prepare and load the fiber into the splicer. A big advantage is that you can mix fibers and get a very nice appearance (and work) on cable splices. The precision is extremely high => The splice has a maximum loss of 0.02 dB (single mode) controlled after splicing. Pre-splice information is also provided and displayed on the screen (such as Bad fiber, Dirty fiber, and Too much offset). EasySplicer PRO constantly calibrates for changes in the environment (such as humidity, atmospheric pressure, and temperature). This can also be done manually, for example, at the beginning of the workday. EasySplicer PRO comes with a ceramic/teflon oven that is also ready for Splice on Connectors (SOC). The battery inside the device is small but very powerful. Approximately 200 splicing cycles (with oven) can be performed before needing to recharge.
