This generator is specially designed for the study of three-phase systems in vocational training classes. It connects to a single-phase 230 V power supply and allows for operation in a standard classroom (Category II) without the need for special installation. It generates three-phase voltages that are safe for the user (SELV). The signal amplitude is adjustable: 6 V or 9 V. The color-coded sockets make it easy to identify the 3 phases and the neutral wire. A selector allows for choosing the frequency of the sine wave signal: - 150 Hz for stable signal visualization on an oscilloscope, - 50 Hz for network frequency, - 1 Hz / 0.1 Hz for visualizing the three-phase signal with 3 lamps or measuring the rotation frequency and slip of an asynchronous motor by eye. The manual scrolling mode allows for step-by-step scanning of the different values of the 3 voltages of the three-phase signal. Light indicators on each phase signal any overload or short circuits.
