Lenz's law experiment

This experiment illustrates Lenz's law.
1 steel cylinder and another magnetized one are meant to fall inside the provided copper tube.
From the perspective of the copper tube, the steel cylinder will naturally fall while the magnet will create a changing magnetic field. This changing field induces currents which result in a counter-reaction that will slow down the magnet in its fall.
2 removable caps can be used to store the equipment at the end of the experiment.
