Polycrystalline solar cell
With this amorphous solar cell, you determine the current-voltage characteristic and power a dipole to evaluate the electrical energy produced. Discover also our amorphous cell ref. 282 094 by clicking here A polycrystalline cell is made up of a multitude of crystals arranged together. An amorphous cell is made up of a thin layer and has a relatively low crystallographic coherence. The difference results in increased efficiency in direct lighting for polycrystalline panels, which is why they are used outdoors. Amorphous cells are more efficient in diffuse lighting, typically indoors but for low-consumption devices (such as calculators).
