Electromechanical Conversions - Direct Current Motors
This offer, consisting of a model and software, aims to carry out experiments to characterize the operation of the DC motor and evaluate the parameters influencing its operation. A motor-generator system allows access to the motor torque and efficiency through a balance of absorbed and restored powers. The applied load is manually adjusted by a potentiometer or preprogrammed via the software. An external load (rheostat) can be connected to the output via 4 mm diameter sockets. A digital encoder allows very precise speed measurement and an output via sockets allows for data acquisition. The student has the possibility to work in 2 operating modes: - Independently using the display of the model to take readings. - In connected mode via USB with the provided software to track the displayed variables on the dashboard and plot several characteristics simultaneously, with many accessible and selectable variables. Integrated processing tools facilitate the interpretation of results. Controlling the load with this software allows for a more in-depth evaluation of the energy involved in the electromechanical chain. Discover the product in the video:
