Volta pile

This product allows the study of oxidation-reduction. The setup consists of a rod on a stand that allows for the arrangement of copper and zinc discs separated by felt discs. Once the felt is soaked in saltwater, caustic soda, or acid, the setup generates a voltage that can be measured with a multimeter and can be used, for example, to power an LED.
