Topics covered:

- Alpha, Beta, Gamma Particles

- Ionizing Particles

- Mesons

- Cosmic Radiation

- Radioactive Decay

- Particle Velocity

- Lorentz Force

Principles and Objectives:
The cloud chamber makes the invisible visible. At any moment, numerous radiation traces can be determined to identify the type of particles based on their shapes and trajectories (Alpha, Beta, and Gamma). A lock allows the introduction of artificial radioactive sources, enabling the conduct of interesting experiments:
- Determination of radiative background noise
- Visualization of Alpha, Beta, Gamma particles, and mesons.
- Visualization of thorium (radon) decay.
- Deflection of beta particles in a magnetic field.

Comments:
The cloud chamber allows the observation of surrounding natural radiation (cosmic radiation and natural radioactivity). Discover this experiment inspired by Nobel Prize winner CTR Wilson (1927). It is the only instrument capable of visualizing natural and cosmic radiation. Qualitative and quantitative experiments.
