Topics covered:

- Capacitor

- Electric field

- Potential / Voltage

- Equipotential lines

Principles and objectives:
A uniform electric field E is produced between the charged plates of a capacitor. The intensity of the field is determined by a computer using an electric field meter, based on the separation between the plates d and the voltage U. The potential inside the field is measured using a potential measurement probe.
Several tasks are proposed: study of the relationship between voltage and electric field intensity, with constant separation or constant voltage between the plates / In the capacitor with plates, measure the potential using a probe, based on position.

Comments:
Precise measurement of the electric field intensity. Very sensitive electric field meter, also suitable for electrostatic voltage measurements.
