Topics covered:
- Kirchhoff's laws
- Voltage
- Resistance
- Parallel circuit
- Series circuit
Principles and objectives:
The Wheatstone bridge circuit is used to determine unknown resistances. The total resistance of resistors connected in parallel and in series is measured.
The different tasks are: to find unknown resistances / to determine the total resistance of resistors in series and resistors in parallel.
Comments:
Possibility of many very precise and reproducible measurements. Also suitable for measuring low resistances.
