Wind turbine kit

To operate a wind turbine properly, one must be able to adjust the aerodynamic parameters of the blades to control the rotation speed as well as the power extracted from the wind. With this educational kit of a mini wind turbine, your students will be able to discover one of the two main ways to vary, and thus control, the aerodynamic force on the rotor of a wind turbine: changing the angle of attack and reducing the surface area swept by the wind. 3 sets of blades with different profiles will allow them to compare, through measurements, the energy production and therefore the power extracted from the wind.
