Presentation

The micro:bit is evolving and offers more possibilities than ever before! The micro:bit V2 is equipped with a new touch sensor, a speaker, a power-saving mode, and greater computing power, allowing you to develop more complex and comprehensive programs and projects. It retains the sensors and actuators present in version 1 (LED matrix, 2 push buttons, 6-axis accelerometer/gyroscope, a compass, a temperature sensor). The micro:bit V2 can be programmed in block language, Python, or JavaScript using the MakeCode software available for free on the internet. Programs made with the micro:bit V1.5 are fully compatible with the V2.
