Arduino microcontroller kit for Second Grade Physics and Chemistry in Python
The kits are differentiated by level and have a complete composition:
- a reference brand microcontroller: Arduino Uno
- a practical and easy-to-use connectivity system: Grove sensors reduce the risk of component damage
- sensors selected or developed for program implementation
- a Python distribution by Jeulin adapted for teaching physics
- experiment files for comprehensive student support during lab sessions
An excerpt of the experiment files can be downloaded for free at www.plateformenum.jeulin.fr
The Python distribution by Jeulin was developed to overcome all difficulties in installing the Arduino board and to facilitate the student's grasp of the programming language.
- Driver and software installation support.
- Easy configuration of the board and sensors.
- Physics-Chemistry focused programming approach (simulation, curves, tables).
- Integrated scientific libraries.
This Python distribution by Jeulin includes essential libraries for scientific programming:
- JeulinLib: allows configuration of the Grove sensors included in the kits, enabling their use and programming in your code lines. Simplification functions have also been developed for easier coding.
- Matplotlib: for mathematical calculations, list creation, and graph plotting (multicurves, legends, etc.)
- Tkinter: for creating graphical interfaces with tools like clickable buttons and tables.
A list of usable functions is integrated into the distribution to facilitate their use.
The Python distribution by Jeulin can be downloaded for free at www.jeulin.fr/installweb, for any purchase of a Python kit (see opposite).
- Arduino Uno board - Grove Shield - Buzzer - Sound sensor - Amplified speaker - Light-dependent resistor - NTC thermistor (100 kΩ at 25°C) - USB cable type AB - 1.8m Grove modules provided with connection cable
