Grove Infrared Emitter

The infrared transmitter is used to transmit infrared signals through an infrared LED. An infrared receiver is used to receive signals on the other side. The infrared LED has a wavelength centered around 940 nm. You can use the transmitter not only to transmit data or commands, but also to create remote controls to control your household devices using an Arduino board for example. The infrared transmitter can reliably transmit signals up to 10 meters.
