Robot AlphAI + Software

The AlphAI software platform from Learning Robots explains and allows manipulation of artificial intelligence through real-time learning of its dedicated robot. All algorithmic details (artificial neural network, etc.) will be presented in the graphical interface! The AlphAI solution stems from a CNRS project to teach Artificial Intelligence in a concrete and visual way. The software enables configuration of different types of robot learning and does not require any prior skills as it comes with pre-tested configurations. In supervised learning, the robot learns to replicate recorded movements during an initial phase where it was controlled (for example, to follow a line). In reinforcement learning, it conducts its own explorations to learn how to maximize a score, and based on how this score is calculated, it will learn to move forward while avoiding obstacles, chase a ball, improve its time on a track, etc. The graphical interface allows configuration in beginner or expert mode of the sensors to use, reward calculation, AI parameters, particularly of the artificial neural network that learns. It displays in real-time the state, activation, rewards received, and network reconfigurations during its learning process.
