Set composed of two transparent discs equipped with radial metal segments, 2 Leyden jars, and 2 discharge arms, all mounted on a plate with dimensions of 345 x 200 mm. The production and collection of charges are ensured by the friction of metal brushes on the rotating discs. The Leyden jars can be connected to the discharge arms to store the charges. The potential difference (80 kV, depending on atmospheric conditions) allows for sparks of approximately 70 mm.
