- Observation of water vapor condensation produced by the combustion of butane on the walls of the borosilicate glass funnel.
- Aspiration of butane combustion gases using the syringe.
- Characterization of CO₂ by bubbling the combustion gases in lime water after manipulating the 3-way valve.
