With this Poly-Interferometry set, all the elements are provided to develop and compare different configurations of interferometers, analyze the advantages and disadvantages, influence the brightness and length of the optical paths or even study different methods of compensating for a delay optical.
The quality of the optics and the stability of the breadboard fixings also allow you to consider fixing your interferometer almost permanently with the possibility of using it in polychromatic light and carrying out numerous experiments.

Principles and objectives:
This complete set allows, with the same mounting system, to build your own interferometer:
- Michelson interferometer: Made up of two adjustable mirrors, one of which is translatable and a separator blade. It is the best known interferometer and easy to build, the optical path of one of the arms can be modified with precision.
- Mach-Zehnder interferometer: Made up of two adjustable mirrors and two separating blades. Design based on two independent arms, without round trip. The optical path is difficult to modify.
- Fabry-Pérot interferometer: Made up of two 95% reflectivity mirrors, one of which is adjustable and translatable. Based on multiple wave interference, it has the greatest finesse and allows spectral analyses.
