This set offers a series of measurements illustrating chromatic dispersion: dispersion methods by prism or grating, demonstration of the minimum deviation by a prism and analysis of a light source.

Subjects discussed :
- Dispersion by a prism
- Dispersion by a network

Principles and objectives:
Chromatic dispersion is an optical phenomenon that occurs when light passes through a dispersive material such as a prism or grating. This process decomposes the light into these different spectral components due to the variation in speed experienced by each wavelength as it passes through the dispersive material.
